New Addition to Team Haden

We’re delighted to have Dr. Tom Hapgood on our team.

Those who know us may be frowning about now. “Tom Hapgood? The same guy who has been building websites with Team Haden for years?”

Yes, that’s the guy. With Tom, and other excellent freelance designers, we’ve been able to build top quality websites when our clients have needed that service.

As our business grows, though, we’ve seen the costs of being without an in-house designer. (That was me, this summer when all our freelance guys went on vacation at the same time, madly Googling advice on typography.)

I might have whined about it a little to Tom. “You should embrace it,” he said, and followed that advice up with a stirring speech on the benefits of having an in-house designer.

Fortunately, having convinced us of the benefits of hiring a designer, he was also willing to be that designer.

Tom comes to us with decades of experience in web design, animation, film making, journalism, and typography. As a faculty member in the Fine Arts Department at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, he always keeps up to date on design and technology for websites. He always meets our exacting standards for code as well as design and usability, and we’re very pleased to have him on our team.
