Trying Out USB Memory Direct

We’re heading to Kansas City for WordCamp KC, and taking with us a new shipment of USB drives from USB Memory Direct. Jeff at USB Memory Direct reached out to us and offered these drives to us for review, and we were happy to take him up on the offer. We’re looking forward to sharing these drives with you at this summer’s WordCamps.

The company specializes in USB drives, and they have an impressive range of options, from wristband styles to business cards and pens containing drives to special shaped and printed USB drives. We went with the natural wood style — an eco-friendly choice that meshes visually with our brand. I love the feel of the drive, and the understated but professional look is perfect for us.

I also love the magnetic closure.

We put it through its paces and found that it works perfectly — a firm fit and no tech problems.

USB Memory Direct offers a very high level of customization. Check out their portfolio for inspiration. If you provide files to customers for any reason, a branded USB drive is a nice way to reinforce your brand with them. We found a good choice for our company right in their catalog and they did a great job with our logo, even though it’s visually complex for a logo. If you need more specialized options, it’s clear that this company is up to the challenge.

We found the packaging excellent and the shipping time fast. They communicated with us every step of the way, too, so we were able to be confident about having the drives in time for the conference. They don’t post their prices online, but we got a quote in 15 minutes. We were happy to see that it included free shipping and a lifetime warranty.

Another great feature of the company is that they will upload your data — a presentation, for example — onto the drives for you. That’s a huge time savings, and a feature that we’ll probably use in the future.

So track us down at WordCamp KC and WordCamp Fayetteville — we look forward to meeting you and sharing these handsome USB drives with you.
