Word Camp Kansas City

Fresh from the successful WordCamp Fayetteville, Josepha is part of the group spearheading WordCamp Kansas City for next spring.

If you’re in the KC area, you can get involved:

  • Sponsor the event. Donate cash, goods, or services, and get your business in front of people who will not only appreciate it, but blog about it, too. Early sponsors get to have their logo and link on the website throughout the planning period. First needs: donations of web hosting, logo, and design skills to create the website (I’ll donate the copywriting).
  • Attend the event. Designers, developers, and bloggers alike will learn, network, and enjoy at WordCamp KC. Sign up early for a break on the ticket price.
  • Present at the event. Do you have useful things to say to fellow users of WordPress? Remember, WordCamp attendees range from those who are thinking of starting a blog to those designing widgets and plug-ins.
  • Volunteer. WordCamps need a lot of volunteers. From rounding up sponsors to organizing the TweetUp, from making badges to handling the A/V, you can make your mark. It’s worthwhile, fun, and a great networking opportunity.

Contact Josepha at josepha@rebeccahaden.com to get involved. The next meeting will be on June 30th.
